Watering Schedule & Guide

Unsure of how much watering your plant needs? We're here to help! Below you will find options of plant size (if you're unsure, check your receipt!), soil type, how long ago the planting occurred, and this week's high temperature to select from. Choosing these options will determine your watering schedule for the week!

Your watering frequency:
Water every day the temperature is 85 degrees or higher.

Watering duration (minutes) per day:

Monitor your plant for signs of distress in times of extreme heat and/or drought. Check the soil for moisture 6 inches below the surface. If it feels dry, water that day for the prescribed duration. Do not water any day when the temperature is 32 degrees or lower.

In this region, rain does not typically provide enough water to substitute a day of watering. Do not water your plants if your yard is flooded for more than 12 hours.

Following this schedule will help ensure your plant(s) will have a deep, healthy root system! Text us at (585)-488-4170 if you have further questions.
