Glossy deep-green foliage topped with late summer flower spikes of turtle head-shaped white blossoms. Full to part sun. Baltimore Checkerspot caterpillars will feed on this plant in late season and then hibernate on the ground where they will emerge in mid to late spring and feed on the plant for a short period before entering chrysalis phase.
